Best image hosting website?

I wanna have a picture for my siggie, but I don't know which site to upload it to. I don't mind one which requires an account, but it needs to be free.  smile

Re: Best image hosting website?

I use Imageshack; it's free and doesn't require an account  tongue  I wouldn't upload anything important to it without an account though.

I use imageshack for all my minecraft screenshots so I would recommend that.

Re: Best image hosting website?

Thanks for all the replies. One question about Imageshack though: if no account is required, do you have to add the webpage to your favourites to get back to the picture again?

I actually like Flickr.  It is free if you have a google, Facebook, or yahoo account.

Re: Best image hosting website?

@RedRocker227: Yes, or you have to memorize the URL. But if you just upload it, and then copy and paste it into your signature, you can see it that way.

Re: Best image hosting website?

Are png files all right for signatures, because the picture's not working?

Re: Best image hosting website?

PNGs should work.

I prefer TinyPic for image uploading.

It might have metadata, and metadata contains information about you. There are some apps that remove metadata, or you can remove it directly in photoshop. Pngs typically store a lot of information in their metas, and you can try to save as jpeg, then png again and your meta should be empty.

Re: Best image hosting website?

I prefer Imgur because unlike Tinypic, there's no pesky Captcha and you can upload multiple images at once.

Also, Ponypic offers image resizing, which is nice in some situations. It can be a little slow though.

Re: Best image hosting website?

I use imageshack, but that's the only one I've tried. It's annoying, though, how you can't use direct link unless you have an account or something and have to use the one which involves an advert for imageshack after it which you have to delete.
