Forum Games Category

Having witnessed about ten hugely popular forum games spring up over the last month, I vote we create a topic for them. Because to be honest, I'm tired of sifting through them to get to threads I want to post in. I'm not saying they're a bad thing. They let people cut loose, but I think they deserve their own category to keep Inspiration and More from being swamped. While I understand the Scratch Forums should be chiefly about Scratch, I don't think forum games are actually capable of being contained in a category not their own. They swamped Astrogeek too (if you haven't heard of them, here's my shameless plug: *index.php ), and the response was to make another category, and this helped clarify "Related Things" and "Unrelated Fun Things". I hope you consider this, but I would like some reasons if it can't be done. (I don't like admins/moderators who act all "high and mighty", not that any of you guys ever would)

Re: Forum Games Category

Interesting idea. I made a new category called Others for Inspiration and More and Text-based games as an experiment to try to keep things tidy. Let's see how it develops.

I think breaking out the games into their own Forum category is a great idea!

However, since the new category addition, I can't find "Inspiration and More" or the "Text-based Games" categories in the Forums Home section.  Can you make them reappear?

I can't see them either. Andresmh, can you see them, or are they just plain gone?

Hey -  I found them!  Go to "Forums Home" and then look way down at the bottom of the page, below "Scratch in Other Languages".  You will see a brand new category called Other with the two "missing" forums.
