The thing is with PvP is that there's no way to defend when you're offline, in wurm you have guards which guard your settlement when you're offline (or online) and this means you can have a life and play a game.
True, plus there is no element of surprise. aka they see your name before they see you.

I'm giving out free stone brick in order to make the city look less rural.
I'm also building houses for free, but we need to clearly mark out equal sized plots for the city.

Ok, planning a new PvP event with the knowledge from the last one, this one will have:
A better map, temples will be hidden better and artifacts will be extremely rare.
New artifacts, infinite use bow, pick, axe, shovel, fishing rod and chain armor set.
Hidden temples containing rare stuff (golden apples, diamonds, etc).
No stupid plug-ins.
Improved rules.
No material mines.
Abandoned villages, hinting the existence of another tribe before you, work out the story to be pointed to a hidden temple.
I know some people had a problem with me being on a team, so mods/admins will be on no team.
Bedrock markers marking a 101x101 space which will become the kingdom's land (more on this below).
Indestructible gold helmet as crown (due to the new armor system).
Land:
Once a settlement is declared it will be the center of the kingdom's land, it must be atleast 100 blocks away from the opposing team's land. A block of bedrock is placed in each corner of the land and any buildings belonging to that kingdom can't be touched unless the owner is online.
Anywhere outside this land is wilderness, anything can happen out here and buildings can be destroyed even if nobody's online, chests can be looted BUT you will get interest on items inside. I will have my own map marking out the wilderness chests (you'd have to show me where they are) and I will put items in there every 24 hours at a random time. It will work like this. I will check how many items there are, if there's 100 planks I will put in 2, if you make 10 stacks of 1 plank I will give you 1. Put simply, I will group them all up and give you 1 for every stack there is. This encourages people to put out rare items and risk them. Artifacts will not be able to gather interest, although I may add a bonus for them.
Kingdoms may be expanded, first off it will go to 151x151 and you will have to pay 10 diamonds. Then 201x201, 15 diamonds. 301x301, 20 diamonds. 501x501, 30 diamonds. So make sure you make space to expand in the future.
Kingdoms:
The king is responsible for everything, s/he decides from where buildings will be placed to attack plans. Spies/scouts are allowed, you are allowed to give info on your kingdom to the other, but your kingdom might pay greatly for spies to be ratted out.
The kingdoms will use the same skin but it's down to the king to decide the name.
Map:
The map will have routes via water to a few places, rivers will stray through landscapes and tunnels will be made for boats to go through. Abandoned cities will be in some places and there will be a storyline which will lead to a knight's set needing you to work out what was going on between these cities. Types of tribes will include:
Rural tribes (more potions/farms)
Cities (big ruins of buildings with old shops)
Druids (big altars made of netherbrick)
Digging/mining bases (lots of ores and some spare picks)
There will be a lot of traps in temples, some will be powerful enough to kill instantly and some will catch you unaware, but the artifact will be worth it.
The map, server and PvP event will be called Elevation.
Yay/nay? I am using feedback from the last one for this one, so it shouldn't have too many problems and we will get some decent PvP.
Offline
Sounds awesome. How about we do this to work out teams (after everybody has said if they'll play or not):
Everybody will vote on two starting players (not the Kings, necessarily)
One of them will get the first shot and choose one person for their Kingdom
Then the second starting player chooses someone
Then the person chosen for the first kingdom chooses etc. etc.
The Kingdoms will then discuss among themselves over who will be king. They could also decide on the KIngdom's name.
Offline
Then you get people who didn't want to join the kingdom at all, being able to choose is better and if one team has more people than the other I will make one mod and they won't partake in any PvP.

Also, honestly, this world is not very good. The 'city' is just some houses, no one's even working to clear it anymore, and it's never going to get cleared.
I would clean up the city, but I don't want to move houses incase someone's annoyed.
Also, who made the ugly cobble house?

Please don't wipe the world!!! I'm just beginning my settlement! Anyone who wants, find me in game and I'll give you the coordinates of my new village, Nieve. (It's Spanish for snow, we are in a snow biome) We so far aren't completely settled, but I just founded it today.

Nobody said anything about wiping, this is the normal map, it's not a temp map.

Ok, to encourage flattening in the city and people to live there too (in neat houses):
Food is supplied
Tools are supplied (first few get a diamond shovel)
Shelter will be built as a main house, basically if you work for the city I will build you a house and supply every last material.
Protection from mobs will be supplied (either a sword or someone online to deal with them)
You get to keep everything supplied, first few people who apply to dig will get a diamond shovel.

By the way Nerve, you know how I accidentally creepered your exp-gaining dungeon in the city? Well I found one just under the city if you need it.

Did you get my white list application?

You never explain how to use webchat/how to access it.
Other than that, looks good.
