New Camera

I got a new camera yesterday. It's an Olympus Tough.
I dropped my old one while on an extinct volcano but this one is shockproof up to 5 feet.
It's also waterproof down to 10 ft, floats, can take 3D pictures, can make panoramas, has cool filters and recognizes pet faces.

Re: New Camera

We had one of the first ones of those... the screen eventually broke but it was a great camera.

I have a Nikon P100. Great lens, but could do with a larger sensor.

Enjoy your camera!  big_smile

PS: What colour?

Re: New Camera

I've got one of those as well!  Mine is not the newest model like you are talking about, but it's still works fine.  I take it kayaking all the time and shoot both above and below the waterline.  It takes good pictures and is quite tough.  My only complaint is that it's a bit slow between shots.  Maybe they improved that some with your model.

Focusing was a bit slow because it uses a special system that doesn't require an external lens barrel.

I love kayaking  smile  But then of course, your username is Paddle2See...

I once saw someone who had Paddle1See on their friends list but it turned out the user was banned  tongue
