So, my new school installed a new rule: "No more then 3 classes at the same time allowed for recess." So, when we got into Recess yesterday, There were ALREADY 3 Classes there! Want the catch? My teacher owes us FIVE HOURS Of Recess!

We had recess though, but It was like a prision yard. There was nothing to do, and we didn't even have a ball.

And a bunch of other people are going crazy TOO. (Did I Mention recess is the ONLY Part of school I like?) But they won't take away the rule, no matter how much people complained.

Hm.. I can understand the rule, but that's insane that she owes you so much time.

Of course whenever I have recess, I just sit around and talk or contemplate my own thoughts.

Recess was always boring for me anyway
But I'd rather have that than schoolwork

That sounds very annoying. Is it that they don't have room for more than 3 classes at a time on the playground?

Maybe you should start bringing your own entertainment...not a laptop, but marbles and cards are a lot of fun. Or maybe one of those folding cloth frisbees or a small rubber ball. We never had supplied equipment when I was in school - so we brought our own. Or just played various forms of tag.

That's a good idea--It irks me, though, at our elementary school we were low on basketballs and stuff and we weren't allowed to bring toys. We couldn't even play tag because we'd "get hurt".
Then in my last year there, we weren't allowed to stand around in groups talking. I have no idea why. I guess they thought we were conspiring against the school. We just had to play with the lame school equipment they had
