DW, I lose 100% of my grade if I miss HW, my friends combined got 15 detentions for talking, and my math teacher is a communist in hiding.

Elementary school had much lighter rules and stuff. I never got a SINGLE DETENTION in elementary. My first year in middle school, I get a detention. For TALKING.

Eh, we go to different schools so I have a different opinion.
In my elementary school, it was RULES RULES RULES, and they treated us like babies. There were rules like:
No running outside after school
No walking in the snow after school

Now, in middle school, they offer me much more freedom, and even though they have some dumb rules, I just go along with them and everything's fine.

As for the things that happened in your school, well, you know you didn't do anything wrong so don't beat yourself up. And you said your Mom's going to kill you, right? Well, try to talk to her about it and say what happened. She should understand. If all else fails, talk to the principal.

Don't we all? My elementary was good though (actual school then). I got in trouble for correcting the guy sitting next to me to put only one space in between words (we were typing an assignment), so the teacher told me to go out of the room and type an 'I'm sorry' paper. I just played video games. lol

I go to a private school. Some of the teachers are great. We have a system sobhome work is online and everybody in or above 7th grade needs to have a computer. ^^

Today is independent learning day. It's like no school but with 3 hours worth of stuff. >:-(

I warned people. Heck, even HIGH SCHOOLERS agree that middle school sucks. No sugar coating here, over the years, it gets worse.

First off, the kids in middle school are MORONS, except for a select few. Second, at least in high school by that time you're used to the 3-4 hour homework. Third, a large amount of middle school boys (at my school anyways) are complete perverts. And the girls are even worse, but I can't give you any examples because it wouldn't be scratch appropriate.

Oh, so true. There was a no running on the playground rule for one of my elementary schools. Liability. Seriously. People were bored and people got detentions for talking and moving around in class. GEE, I WONDER WHY?
