Many people on Scratch could have their password guessed and their account destroyed. Many older Scratchers have heard about SpriteMaster's account getting "hacked". What really happened is that his password was guessed.
Here is a guide to how to make your password.
1.Start with the name of your favorite pet:
gracey*
2.Scramble the letters:
cygaer
3.Add some letters:
cyigwehr
4.Add numbers:
cyig5we35hr718
5.Change Capitalization:
CyIg5wE35Hr718
*This is just an example. This password is not real in any way.
After these 5 steps, your password would be hard to guess. Add symbols if you wish!
GOOD PASSWORDS:
CyIg5wE35Hr718
Ga7R29fk
etc.
BAD PASSWORDS:
Password
(Your Username)
12345
Security
etc.
Extra Tips:
-Don't write down your password.
-Don't type randomly without knowing exactly what you're typing.
If you follow these tips, your account will be perfectly secure from password-guessers.
Please tell me if I forgot something, and Scratch On!

Well, you also have to make sure you can remember your password, so remember that.
I have my own password, thats not randomly capitalized nor scrambled, yet no one has gotten on my account. I can tell because theres no unknown posts i made.

I combine some random words using a portmanteau generator. I like using Portmanteaur, but anything will do. Super easy to remember and very hard to hack. Just think of some random words. And pick something that looks hard to guess.
For instance, 'banana' and 'perfectionist':

My dad randomly headbutts the keyboard, and his passwords are mental.

I am hearing you all, but...
@FallenIce I have a part about knowing your password.
@Greatgane That is a good idea, but this guide is a quicker way for a tough password.
@my-chemical-romance How does he remember his passwords?
@superplane That's another plan, but my plan makes a password easier to remember.

My dad writes them in .txt files and keeps them in a memory stick which is always on him.

I actually use two passwords
the longer one (19 digits) for important accounts
and a shorter one (8 digits) for non-important
they're both really hard to guess
and I can type them in less than a second

I can disprove that. Takes a minute to make a password with your method... maybe... 10 seconds to make one with mine?
Not a contest by any means though.

Well, first of all, that was a little typo. The "D" and "G" keys are pretty close together on a keyboard. Secondly, my guide is, once again, for those New Scratchers that are looking over the website and want a last-minute secure password. A secure password can be much shorter, though. You can make a secure, three-character password.

Did you know that to make something a habit, you have to do it seventy times? So to get SUPER used to any new passwords I make, I type them a bunch of times in word.

Mine uses Greek characters to prevent hacking. This isnt my password but it uses greek:
πίτας και κέικ= Pie and cake
Do you have a Greek keyboard? It would be hard to do that EVERY time you logged into something.

I made a project that makes high quality passwords.
It may be useful, so here it is: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/SJRCS_011/2147705

Adding symbols really helps. As people rarely try symbols in there passwords.
