So, whats the latest update? Are you two together?
Not quite. Although I'm close. I'm still working up the nerve to tell her.

Eh, I'll help you anyway.
Become really close friends first. How I got my first girlfriend. Also, try to be funny.
Well I've got the humor part covered

Umm.. Too young. Trust me. 14 here. ಠ_ಠ
Just... no. Be friends, go out in 7th grade, and see where 8th grade takes you.

Meh just let me do this. Since me & her are close friends already, i don't see a point in waiting. But that's just my opinion.

Whatev. I was going to wait a bit longer anyways. But if she tells me that she likes me, the relationship will probably start soon after.

ok well you're in the position i'm trying to get to

before i want them to
I know what you mean. One time this gyrl named Claire (she has diabetes, and the creepiest girl in the grade besides Helena, who keeps a folder for every kid in the class. Jack's peanut butter and jelly sandwich is in her binder. Doesnt that creep you out?) told me she likes me, and someone heard and I was trying to keep my sanity for a couple of months. My humor helped. She passed me notes sometimes, and one said:
"Do you know what boyfreind and girlfriend do together?"
And I wrote down
"Recycle?"
And passed it back. And Conner grabbed it before it reached her and read it aloud, and That was my most embarrassing moment of fifth grade. And yes, i spelled that wrong on porpoise. I mean purpose.

You can't be too young to have a girlfriend, you just can't do most stuff together at a young age.

Just go.
Stop bumping.
Tell her.
There is nothing more to say.

Walk up to her, tell her you like her, but make sure you're almost alone. Problem solved, but you might get slapped (no joke, it happened to me )

Okay. Get ready for a sort-of long post. (In case anyone is wondering, I am fine telling this story. The problem is, the girl I used to like is also on Scratch. [I will not say her username, partly because I don't know it] Thankfully she doesn't go on very often)
So, I liked this girl in my class. I told her about ti at the beginning of the school year. She didn't express many emotions. We had know each other since second grade, so I was pretty confident around her. My class was small; only about 18 students. Anyway, we were the best of friends, but I started having second thoughts. I wasn't sure if I really liked her anymore. Any way, some other things happened which I will not explain to preserve her dignity (reason will be below, and I tell the part left to my friends, but I don't feel comfortable posting it online). Anyway, I decided to back out . And I did. And I know it was the right choice.
Now for the reason I mentioned above: I believe in forgiveness. If something happens to you, you don't just turn around and give the same back to them. You forgive them for what they did, because it is for the best for the both of you. I still work with her on some group activities; I hold no grudge, harbor no resentment. I follow this saying:
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery, and today is a gift; that's why they call it the present"
This page in a nutshell: Go ahead and tell her, but be sure you actually like her. If you ever fell like something is wrong, discuss it with her. If you feel you can't then don't. Just trust your gut. If you feel you don't have the courage, then slowly say it. Maybe like holding the door for her, trying to cheer her up if she's sad, that kind of thing.
Also, does you school have dances?
What if you told her while on XBox Live?

There's no point in dating while in middle school. It will not last and it'll kill your existing friendships.
You can always try in high school.

Guys, just saying that dating is pointless is probably just because you can't get a date. Just let the young people live their lives. (sorry not trying to offend anyone)
