I am installing Windows on my Mac. What Anti-virus should I use? I has to be free, and work.

Re: Windows Anti-virus

Actually, I have avast! AND Malwarebytes.  avast! blocks viruses, and does a good job, but when viruses do get in, that's when I use Malwarebytes.

Re: Windows Anti-virus

I use Avira. I was going to use Avast but got confused between the two.

Avira does seem to be much less resource-hungry  smile

Exactly this. Malwarebytes is a fantastic tool for virus removal, but the free version will only perform manual scans and then remove any malware found. If you want real-time coverage, you need another anti-virus. I recommend Avast.
