Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I worked on a project for almost an hour, got a lot done. Went to upload a sound file, and it brought up something saying "VIM Error." Then it closed scratch. You better believe I'm ticked. All that work, down the drain. And often, I don't have the spirit to do it again for a while. What does this mean, and is there any way to regain what was lost without having to do it all again?!

It means the program crashed on you. The sound file was probably too big to handle. I guess my best advice would be to save often; sorry bout your lost work bud

Thanks for the first decent answer. And yeah, probably should've saved. Thing is, went back and put up the same music, and it worked. Hmmmm....? >.<
