Chapter 4 of my story, Space Academy, is called Chekhov's Laser!
It will only be funny if you are familiar with the term Chekhov's Gun.

Then you won't find it funny. It's a term used when talking about books (or films, even).

Vocab has nothing to do with Chekov's gun
Frankly I don't see what's good about the title

*Chekhov's
And it's funny, don't you think? Obviously not the best title ever; that was just an exaggeration. But it's funny, don't you agree?

Chekhov's Gun is a literature term, so me essentially calling a chapter after a literature term, but with a slight twist, is funny, no?

It's like calling someone in a story Mr Redshirt, or something, just for them to be killed immediately!
Fine.
