What GOES and DOESNT GO on this forum- A guide for New Scratchers

Well, some New Scratchers don't know which forum to post on. And thats ok. Here is a topic so they know what topics to post on this forum. Hope this helps.

So, first of all, Troubleshooting is for problems you've had with the scratch website or program. And Project ideas is for getting ideas or giving ideas for others. Suggestions is for suggesting new things for scratch.

But what things do you put in the New Scratch Members forum? Well i'll tell you.

For one, the New Scratch Members forum is for introducing youself to the scratch community or if you are a bit knowledgeable about the forums, YOU can create a helpful guide like this [just make sure its not a duplicate].

So THESE are example of topics that WOULD NOT go on the New Scratchers forum, and where it actually belongs.

"Best thing to pass your time":
this is a Misc topic, but you cannot post there until your a scratcher, so try and post helpful topics and suggesting until you are.  smile

-------------------
"THIS IS THE BEST PROJECT EVER!!!":
This kind of topic would go in the Show & Tell forum.

------------------
" I need some ideas for projects":
This type of topic would go in the Project Ideas forum.

Now of course, i have many more example. But theres 3 examples right there.

Now heres some topics that WOULD go on this forum, and why:

"Hi, i'm awesomeperson123":
This type of topic is someone introducing themself, so it belongs here.

-------------
"A quick tutorial- for new scratchers":
This type of topic would go on here because it gives info ABOUT SCRATCH to newer scratchers or maybe even scratchers!

I do hope this gave you an idea of where to post.
I hope you enjoy scratch, new scratcher.  smile

Also, specific guides that are about certain aspects of Scratch should go in the All About Scratch forum. (Not this one, though)
