Hi guys,
I cannot make scratch even start! It dies immediately with a "Sorry but the VM has crashed". I tried on two different computers and also tried scratch 1.3.1 and always I get the same.
Do I need to download something else before?
Thx,

You shouldn't have to. This is after a successful install, correct? On what operating system and hardware are you attempting to run it?
This is also better suited to the Troubleshooting forum, so I've moved it there.

Hmm. There seems to be nothing wrong with your computer. Have you downloaded any programs with hacks in them or otherwise changed scratch through Shift-Click-R or VM modifications? Otherwise, you have me stumped on this one.
You might have to re-install Scratch.
Before you do that, you might want to download a files-only version, then see if that works. If so, you probably have to reinstall, unless you want to stay with the files-only.
If not, post here again. I'll try to see if JSO would know what to do.
To download files-only, go to this: Clicky

I tried again - no difference. I think you missed something: I never managed to run scratch, not even once. It crashes immediately when starting on a fresh install. On two different computers. Installer or files version. Version 1.3.1 as well.
