Everything you try to download comes up with that? Try downloading your projects and seeing what happens.
If so, check to see if you have any problems with your computer. Also, have you modified Scratch in any way?
What version of Scratch do you run? (I.4, 1.3.1, etc.)

Have you tried re-installing Scratch? Perhaps you have a corrupted installation.

I had an issue with one of my laptops with downloading projects on 1.4. It would download, and then come up with a blank screen. I had to reinstall it to get it to work again, so that's what I''d suggest you should do.

Have you messed around with the Scratch source code? That type of thing happens if you didn't save your code modifications correctly...
Do you have Scratch 1.4? Or an earlier version?

Try re-installing it, then. You might have to delete all the Scratch files first.

Try unistalling, deleting, and reinstalling. If that doesn't work, then I have no idea...

Thanks to climber59, i was looking in another topic on the same problem and i found something that works, shift-click the R and save image for end user, it fixed all projects, not just the one i was opening

Try redownloading the project or scratch or try downloading an updated java/flash player.
If it still doesn't work try contacting the scratch team.
