never do <when[ ]key pressed> for motion scripts instead do this
<when green flag clicked><forever><if><key[ ]pressed?> do such and such
Thanks for the suggestion, but this topic is about the forums, while your post is about scripting Scratch. You can help out a lot more people by making your own topic about some scripting tips
That would be a good way to become a Scratcher
Edit: Woah...what is up with the bold writing?

It's fine! I did that, too, when I was a New Scratcher, and I'm still a Scratcher. We all make mistakes, you probably didn't know about the "New Scratcher" status then.

What would be considered active? Posting 50 projects and 100 posts in one day?
*****EDIT: I am a scratcher! YAY!********

No no no no no.
Waaaay more than you need to post and upload (You can post and upload that much if you want to, but you don't need to).
Post projects often, and post helpful stuff over the course of a week. Do this every week until you become a Scratcher.
I became a Scratcher with only two pages of projects (the second page had, like, two projects on it).
So, maybe 30 posts a week until you become a Scratcher is good, and about two pages of projects is good, also. Try posting constructive comments, too
Edit: Oh, and I wouldn't worry. It looks like you'll be a Scratcher sometime tomorrow

Thanks for a brilliant guide to help me become a Scratcher, because, earrlier, I went to your amazing signature shop getting all excited about getting one, and I told you what I wanted on it writing loads, and then I find out I can't have one because I'm a New Scratcher! Grr.
Anyway, I searched again for how to become a Scratcher, and I find this! Again, from a really helpful person who spends lots of their time helping others!
Thanks Fungirl123,

@cartoon Thanks, and you're lucky that you were a Scratcher when you got here. XD
@quinnpainter No, you have to be active on the forums as well as the main site

Actually, I believe you can become a Scratcher without any posts in the forums. It's just that the chances are minimal, because obviously if you don't post in the forums, then no mods'll find you.

Though if you've visited the forum before, the bot might. (I'm not allowed to tell the exact formula. D:)
