How much fun is it? It depends on your style of play. If you want a game where you can run around building awesome structures, it's great on Creative mode as long as you don't mind taking the time to put it block down individually. If you want a 3D world that you can explore, shape, and play in, it's awesome in that aspect too. Oh and if you're afraid of the zombies you can swap to Peaceful mode, but you do miss out on a lot of items.

What would I rate it on a 1/10 scale? Somewhere around 8.5

Would I recommend it? Yes.

Should you get it? Yes.

Is it worth the money? Well it does last, and considering all the things you can do in it I'd say yes.

And it depends on the sort of game you like. With Minecraft, there is a way to win, but it's more of a little challenge than a main thing. Minecraft is mainly about gathering resources and building in an infinite randomly generated world. I like the freedom of it, and how it can appeal to different sorts of gamers.

Like for RPGers, there is enchanting and potions and achievements and a big quest to finish.

For casual gamers, there's the building and constructing. I like the way that you can make a little house and slowly expand it with guard towers, walls, more rooms etc.

And if you prefer combat there are lots of varied enemies, and a few different weapons. There's also the potions and enchantments which add a lot to combat.

How much fun is it? I can't describe how much fun.

Is it worth the money? Dude, its worth Notch's weight in gold.

It's great, but in 1.0 it's bug riddled, costs more and the new features (aka. super rare diamonds) make it really hard to get decent stuff. I also had diamonds before a steady supply of food, if you spend too much time gathering food you end up eating most of it and having hardly any left by the time you want to do something fun.

I'd give it an 8/10, the new sounds make it sound more cartoony but most the other stuff is great, don't know how much it costs now.
