well you probably haven't had a girl you liked or had a gf before, it's different, makes people feel happy

For all you people that are saying that girlfriends at the age of 11 doesn't work - I had a girlfriend when I was 7, and it lasted 5 years.

And congratz on getting the girl ;p

At my school, you can't even be nice to someone of the opposite gender without everybody thinking you're boyfriend and girlfriend! One time I tried to give a gift to a friend who happened to be a girl. Bad idea. All day nobody said anything to me other than "Oh! That's so sweet...", and I hadn't even given the present yet!!! I ended up just dropping it in front of the person and ran and hiding to reduce the number of people noticing... It probably would have been ignored if I hadn't done the exact same thing back in 2nd grade when everyone else was extremely immature! Stupid rumors!

I co-exist with girls, and the boys in my class are too busy watching inappropriate videos by sneaking on the computers at lunch that they don't notice. I just get along better that way (and besides, one of the "cool" people stuck my camera down his pants while my back was turned WITH THE LENS TELESCOPED OUT)

With all due respect, your 11, dude, get over yourself. how long do you think its going to last? And just to let you know, it more than likely not to be 'love' but a little thing called hormones. Get use to it!

thats called imaturity, and when you hit around 13 it wld all b the other way around. tip, running away i think wont help the sitsuation, just make ppl think your shy...

seen as i'm a girl this might not help, but if you really like her then you should just tell her out straight girls don't like it if they're not told by the person but by one of their friends and she'll be  able to understand more

It's just that the relationship can't go anywhere. It's pointless and 11-year-olds are likely to be far too self-righteous to persevere through the relationship. Chances are the two of you will be over before highschool, and even at fourteen, you'd probably go your separate ways for college/university. Nothing can amount from an early relationship but bad things...
