backup plan
I'm sure you all know about th Protect IP bill that has been worrying people all over the internet. I think I have a plan that will protect the scratch site if it gets passed. Scratch is educational, and therefore Fair Use applies. Put sources for any and all copyrighted materials you use in project notes. Then, Scratch can't be shut down!

It will help some. Don't expect the government to view EVERY single project. It will increase our odds.
@kimmy123: I don't know. I hope it doesn't get passed, but at least scratch will have a chance.

@kimmy123: I don't know. I hope it doesn't get passed, but at least scratch will have a chance.
They will check a lot of projects, and newer scratchers won't do that.
