Execution Speed

Hi,

This app: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/mangocats/2148441 seems to run a lot more slowly than it has to, meanwhile, Task manager shows the CPU mostly idle.  Are there hidden wait states that can be turned off in Scratch?

The Flash player is a little faster (and much smoother) than Java, but still very slow.

Have you tried turbo mode? In the flash online player, hold shift and click the green flag. That renders the set in about 10 seconds for me!
