Hi.
I once got a comment about someone loving me and thinking I'm cute and wanting my phone number.
Be safe on here and the internet in general.

Lol thanks I'm feeling a little better now by the way.
Anyway, welcome to Scratch! There are so many things to do here and so many fun activities, I can't imagine you ever getting bored!
The Scratch Forums are a place where you can meet new scratchers, discuss fun ideas, share projects and so much more!
But there is a catch. At one time on the forums, anyone was allowed to post almost anything because there were not many restrictions and rules. The reason why they didn't have many rules was because they Scratch community was very small and they did not have many problems with Scratchers. But then one time, the Scratch community got attacked and a lot of people joined and started advertising their sites and spamming all over the forums. Right then, the Scratch Team decided they needed a better system so they added a lot of new rules in the forums. They added 2 groups in the forums, Scratchers and New Scratchers. They made it so new scratchers could not post very often. That way, they could catch it quick before it was a problem. They also added some other rules. Now, you can't post in the Miscellaneous until you are a Scratcher. They also used to make it so you had to wait 10 minutes to post, then they knocked it down to 5 and I think it is 3 now, right? So now, you have to earn your way to become a Scratcher.
To become a Scratcher, you must be an active user on the Main site and the forums. By active, I mean you need to post projects often and contribute to the scratch community.
The more you contribute, the quicker you will become a Scratcher. WAIT! There is another catch! You should make your comments, posts and projects constructive and helpful. If you needed help with something on Scratch, would you rather get a comment saying "Okay" or "This is what you need to do. Go to the Scratch project, save it and close it down. Then open it back up and press edit on every single sprite to get the text to show." I'm pretty sure you would want them to say the second one. So make sure your posts are helpful and have some meaning to them. Comments/posts like "Awesome", "Cool" and "Nice" are not very helpful. They don't have much meaning to them.
There is a part of the site that is very unknown but I find it very fun and I'm sure you will too This part of the site is called the The TBGs. TBG stands for Text Based Game. This part of the site looks very similar to the part you are on now which is the forums but it only has two sections, the TBGs and the RPGs. RPG stands for Roll Playing Game. Personally, I really like the TBGs and probably have set the record for the most created games but the RPGs are also fun and, from what I see, are more popular. This part of the site also has New TBGers and TBGers but people there become TBGers way quicker. The other day, I saw a person become a TBGer after 5 posts! I have created about 30 games but I know this one a lot of people like... New TBGers vs. TBGers. It is very very simple but addictive. It is also a good example for New TBGers. Just read the rules and you should be fine One more thing, remember to go to the last page before you post. I hope you check them out
Hey, before I go on, I just want to say that I have been writing this for about half an hour now and I have not copied from anywhere
So on the next part of the site I will talk about, I am actually a curator there which means I can add projects to the galleries. This section is called the Scratch Design Studio or for short, SDS. Basically, about every month, a new gallery comes out with a theme. The theme will almost always be different. What you want to do is make a project that fits the theme. Then, give a link on the gallery and we'll add it if it follows all the rules Hopefully, you will check it out
