Is Deviantart a Safe Website?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to draw (I'm getting a graphic designer thingy for Christmas) So I'm wondering, is Deviantart safe for kids that are 12 and up? (I'm 12 so, yeah) PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Thanks!!!!!

Umm, well, I think it's fine, but be careful. There's some s-e-x-ual stuff, and y--i. So be careful what you look, and make sure your parents look through it.

You should join it. If you're not comfortable with what spongebob123 mentioned, turn on the filter. It will show a busy sign on any deviations that have bad language etc. You have to tell them that you want to see it before you look.

Thanks! I will let my parents look first! And don't worry, I hear enough "mildly umpleasent" things in my class (Some kids in my class are total nut jobs and EXTREMLY imature, so life is rough living in a class room 70% wack-os) But most of the kids are pretty good. (My school is really good but sometimes thing go a little south, in my class room I mean) I have looked through deviantart a few times, and found 1 unpleasent thing, and I now look up things on there that are surely safe. Thanks again!!!!!

I'd say it's safe, but it depends. The moderation there is horrible, so most inappropriate images don't get deleted. try to use use a filter on it if your parents won't let you see pg-13 stuff.
I usually laugh at those kinds of things, But I dunno bout' ya'll.

When I went on there I couldn't find any [removed] or anything of the like (needed a desktop which annoyed people) so I'd say it's pretty safe.

Well, it's basically a genre that pairs two, uh, gay men and it's not JUST something with homosexuality, it can get pretty dirty sometimes. But it's generally fine. There are even y--i fangirls, though. 
But if you don't like it, then ignore it. That's what I do when I go to dA for a drawing tutorial..

They have no pornography allowed there but there are naked men and women showing everything sometimes
