What's going on?
Everyone on the forums is freaking out about how tommorow the internet is getting censored. I'm just wondering if this will effect scratch and why this is happenning. Can someone please give me an explanation about what's going on!?!?

It's the government. The are making a bill to censor the internet, and if it passes, we will won't be able to have freedom of speech on the internet.
This could result of Scratch (And more of your favorite websites) being completely censored. If you want to see more about this, go in Misc. There is a humongous rant.
Don't worry, though! This probably won't happen. They tried to do this before, and it didn't work. And if it does pass, it won't last long because the economy will get even worse.

First of all, you guys don’t have an understanding of how slow the government is when they pass bills. It takes forever. So even if this does pass, there will be a BUNCH of lawyers who will go against it, and many people will revolt.
Not to mention how stupid it sounds. I know we have some bad people up in the government, but they wouldn’t do something like that.
