Voted "Yes." I'm against this. I mean, if we have freedom of speech in real life, how come we can't have freedom of speech in Internet? ... Maybe the Internet could have it's own set of laws, but no freedom of speech!? Seriously?!

For those who don't know what this is about, Google "internet censorship bill". Here's an example of an article about this bill.
Sounds like Scratch is going to be in serious trouble if this passes. How many copyrighted songs have you seen in Scratch projects? Apparently, under this bill, Scratch is liable for what its users do.

You guys don't get it, this bill really means the gov will be able to auto censor some BAD websites, why would they censor scratch?
If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time

Scratch should be fine, fair use protects it, but youtube may be not so fine... but have you heard or seen ANYTHING about this besides on the internet?
I sure haven't.
I doubt its really that big of a deal or you would hear people protesting n the streets for THAT too.
(Hey BTW at least the dog, goose and cat didn't protest against little red. )

Well, it might not be. Based on what I'm reading in the bill, if someone decides that there is some content on on a website deemed to be copyright infringement, then the website is censored.
So it makes me wonder what happens when someone like Namco-Bandai comes along and makes a big fuss of a kid's project. Seems to me like the whole Scratch website could be censored automatically due to a DCMA notice based on the bill.
