Is there another Scratch program? Because my friend seems to be lieing that there is, And isnt the Scratch program name copywrited to MIT labs anyway?? (This is about Scratch because he could be lieing that there is another program, and using the Scratch program (MIT, if ther is another).)

There's also stencyl (I can't remember real spelling) and it's a flash program based off of scratch.

There are many many MANY spin-offs of scratch such as gopher and BYOB/snap! so he probably is using snap! there are unrelated ones such as: hatena,java,c++,HTML and PHP.

Apart from the mods (which are pretty numerous) there are a few alternatives to Scratch, some very similar.

These include Stencyl, Starlogo TNG, and Alice. Stencyl was inspiring by Scratch, Starlogo was made my MIT, and Alice I don't know. There's a page with details about this on the Scratch Wiki!
