Dectronica- My New Song

Hey guys. I just made a new song. It's a present for my mother for Mother's Day.

Download to it here. Feedback is appreciated, both positive and negative. Please try to be nice though.

Re: Dectronica- My New Song

I like it, but you need more instruments. Right now it sounds like a way too long intro

Re: Dectronica- My New Song

Just thought I'd bring this one back up, since I didn't get a lot of feedback when I posted this.

Re: Dectronica- My New Song

It's alright, but I agree with Laternenpfahl. It also seems really off-tempo at times.

Since you 'created' a song, I think this fits better in the Things I'm Making and Creating forum.  smile

Thanks for moving.

Unfortunately, this means even LESS people will see this.

But for the two that did, thanks for the feedback. And I would have to agree, that some parts do feel off-tempo. I'll try to improve that when making music in the future.

BTW, this was made in a great iPhone app called MusicStudio. It's a great app. It costs $15, which may seem pricey, until you consider a similar thing would cost at least $75 on a PC.

Or you could just use free alternatives  wink

I know of free programs that edit music, but none that actually make it.

Re: Dectronica- My New Song

I like it - very majestic at times.  I also agree with the previous reviewers that it sounds a bit spare and could use some more instruments with some different parts to fill it out.  Keep at it though, it has promise.

I'll have to check out Music Studio - how do you think it compares to GarageBand?

It's quite similar. It has a selection of instruments (a very wide one too) and a keyboard that you can play/record them with.
