Help with animation?

Yeah, I've been brushing up on my animation skills. I wrote myself a Mac app to help me take many pictures and string a bunch of the pictures into an animated .mov, figured out how to add sound effects with iMovie, set up a camera in front of a piece of paper where I can draw, but I can't figure out how to actually do the animation.  tongue  I can do claymation, but drawing each frame over again seems too hard, and I can't think of another way. I tried erasing little bits and changing them, but it still doesn't look realistic. Tips?

Re: Help with animation?

How about keyframe animation instead?

Re: Help with animation?

Use a white board. Just draw and re draw the entire thing.
If you have a DSi, get flipnote to practice there.

It's just practice.

Or you could cheat like me (see my 1st project).

Re: Help with animation?

Drawing is certainly very hard, but the more abstract the animation is, the easier it will be  wink
