That's not a riddle, that's a pardox. Riddles have answers.

That's always how they kill robots in Star Trek; confuse them with a paradox, then they explode
lol ya.

Kayybee is wrong.
It has an answer: A lie.
Because look:
"Everything I say is a lie"
If that's a lie then not everything he says is a lie.
Kayy though
Everything I say is not a lie
but it's actually
Not everything I say is a lie
It's the second because let's look at this in real life.
I have lied in my life, but I don't always lie. If I said "Everything I say is a lie" I would actually be lying. That's a lie, yet I have lied in my life.

This riddle seems to have an answer, the way I see it. If he's lying, then even though his statement was, "Everything I say is a lie", it wouldn't have to be opposite, like, "Everything I say is true." It could just mean that sometimes what he says is a lie, and sometimes it's true.

No, it's a lie.

Truth.
This is true. Everything you say is a lie. But this is a out-of personality statement. It's like you are staying out of you lying-ness to say this.

The first one is actually not a paradox. He is simply lying.

oh! here is a riddle I know, I got it from a game:
okay so in this riddle you are in front of a knight and a demon
knights always tell the truth while demons always lie
you are only allowed to ask them a yes or no question
how do you find out which is the knight and which is the demon?
there are actually two right answers to this riddle though

I'VE GOT IT!
Just ask the one of them, "Are both of you demons?"
The knight will say "no"
The demon will say "yes"

Wouldn't the demon say no, since it always lies
How about "Am I in front of you?"
If the demon always lies it would say no, and the knight would say yes :>

I believe you told it wrong.
I heard a riddle quite like that, except there are two doors guarded by goblins. One lies, one always tells the truth, and you have to go through the correct door. The other leads to certain death.
You can only ask one of them one question, you cannot ask the other anything. What do you ask to go through the correct door?
The way you told it you could just ask them something obvious like "is the sky blue" and you would have your answer.

"If I were to ask the other goblin: "which is the safe door?" what would he say?"
And then whatever door he says, go through the other one

Oh, I misread your answer and thought you were asking them both individually if they were a demon.
You're correct then, I guess

The good sir is correct!
@Gatsby: It doesn't matter which goblin is which, asking either one will yield the same answer if you frame your question correctly.
