Don't worry, it doesn't crash your computer. I kill it to fix a graphical glitch with taskbar windows in Windows 7 where windows appear to be still highlighted. Then I just start it again with Task Manager's New Task menu item (under File).
So, how often do you kill Explorer (or any other process)?

Yeah I used to do it a ton, back when I only had a gig of memory. Now that I have 3.5 gigs, I haven't needed to. smile

It's always fun to do it at school and fake-freak-out then mentally laugh at my teacher as he tries to find out where the task bar went. :P

YEP. You see, my desktop doesn't show sometimes, so i kill the proccess, then re-open it. It does miracles.

u should buy Liberty BASIC... it is made by the same person that made Just BASIC and it has better stuff such as compiling your program, larger programs and stuff

Once I accidentally quit it. It wasn't responding and I thought it was IE.
