Scratch

Suppose I create derivate work based on scratch that can do things on server-side as well as client-side and then make multiplayer game for facebook using this, for example. Can I monetize the game (I'm asking because of 'non-commercial' in the license.txt) (of course, I put the credits in)?

What do you mean by "using Scratch software"? Derivative work, as is written in source code license. I take source code, make my own software out of it, and then use it in above-mentioned manner (to be able to have, say, multipalyer game in facebook pages with ads that create revenue). Can I do it?

No, I don't want to develop commercial game. I want to develop fork of Scratch, which will have additional abilities, and using this it would be available to make, for example, multiplayer game in facebook. Or, simpler question, because this seems too complicated: can I put Scratch games/animations/etc. on a facebook page (don't ask how - this is not the part of the question, let us assume there is a way to do it) that is monetized (with all credits, etc.)?

no because scratch is supposed to promote remixing, i know thats crazy but i once tryed to do the same thing.....

You can certainly use Scratch to illustrate your product.  What is not permitted, however, are advertisements for commercial products on this web site - so I have removed the link you posted.  There are many ways to learn Scratch...one of the most effective is to look around the site and find projects that do things similar to what you are trying to do and then download them and study the scripts.  And, of course, the Forums are available with lots of helpful people ready to give you assistance.  Enjoy Scratch and good luck.

No, you can't sell it. You can distribute it for free, though, as long as there is no copyright.
