What program do you usually use to splice sprites?

Hey peterkap, do you mean like splicing Pokemon sprites, or any two sprites in general? You can do that with any image editor, like MS paint, Photoshop, Paint.NET, GIMP, or even the Scratch Paint Editor. Or, you can opt for requesting a splice in the Requests forum if you want someone else to do it for you.

Well, I wouldn't say each one is "easiest" to use for splicing - different splicers like using different programs for whatever reason.
For example, I like the Scratch Paint Editor and MS Paint because their interface is simple to use. At the same time, I like GIMP and Photoshop because of the ability to use different layers. Personally, though, I would go with MS Paint if I wanted to splice sprites, only because Photoshop is rather a heavy program to use (it's kind of like using a machine gun over a fly swatter to kill a fly - it can be done, but I just don't think it's practical). ^^
