Yay I just got minecraft beta!

Woah, I made a new thing and spawned right next to this! 


I see lava all the time but this close to my spawn??? Well, there was that lavafall incident...

The scratch community are now on minecraft are they? Well, it's a decent game.

Imma got a nice little cosy world. I just normally make some nice inventions. I've made a mob factory, a massive self harvesting cacti farm, a self harvesting farm (flawed concept) and a timer.

He wants it to be automatic, I think. Try this:

w=water (don't put anything here)
g=glass (so you can watch them die)

Do this 2 wide, so spiders+cows+pigs will fall in.

K, got it    I assume the spiders, etc. will die by drowning?

Ok, thanks for the help.    I'm building it in a cave so I don't think chickens will fall in it.

Underground 0_o

I know a little trick that needs two sand blocks to find them.

Go to the end of a shaft and look up. Place a sand block on the edge of the block next to the shafts end. Then look down and position yourself so it's only just inside the sand block and then look up and place another one.

You should then be able to look through the walls to find caves and stuff.
