I don't think it's unfair, because if you're 14 or older, then you probably have experience with scratch, and you're (usually) wiser and stuff.

I think it should be lowered to 11 and a half-12. I'm not running, so that's proof that this it not so I run, I just think 12 year-olds are mature enough. Well, some of them. Rufflebee, for example, I wouldn't vote for next year

Let me just say that the decision was not made lightly. And it is unfortunate that we have to let two of our hard-working mods go - at least until they become age-eligible again. We appreciate all the work they have done for the community.
The Scratch Team feels that the new requirements will benefit the moderators and the community in the long run.

My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

It just ended up that the finalization of the rules and the announcement occurred during a time when most people were thinking ahead towards the next election; not unfair, just rather unfortunate.

Look people, the rule is in place, there's nothing we can do to change it, so although we're all unhappy ( ), life is unfair sometimes. Roll with the punches, is what I say.
