Re: Motor blocks on Scratch 1.4?

The blocks say all - just imagine them as normal new blocks and use them appropiately with the Sensor Board.

To get Motor blocks, click on Edit and select Show Motor blocks. They'll appear under the motion blocks (in the Motion category).

LEGO<  ® WeDo TM

Scratch can now interface to the LEGO® Education WeDo™ robotics kit.

The "Show Motor Blocks" command in the Edit menu makes five motor blocks appear in the "Motion" category:

http://info.scratch.mit.edu/sites/infoscratch.media.mit.edu/images/MotorOnFor.gif turns the motor on for the specified number of seconds.

http://info.scratch.mit.edu/sites/infoscratch.media.mit.edu/images/MotorOn.gif turns the motor on.

http://info.scratch.mit.edu/sites/infoscratch.media.mit.edu/images/MotorOff.gif turns the motor off.

http://info.scratch.mit.edu/sites/infoscratch.media.mit.edu/images/MotorPower.gif turns the motor on at the given power level (0-100).

http://info.scratch.mit.edu/sites/infoscratch.media.mit.edu/images/MotorDirection.gif sets or reverses the motor direction.

In addition, the "sensor value" block now allows you to select the WeDo"tilt" and "distance" sensors. To use these blocks you will need a LEGO® Education WeDo™ kit, available at www.legoeducation.com.
