I wish they would be implemented. But with that there is a risk of chatroom projects. There is nothing wrong with what the scratch team intends though.

Chatroom projects which allow inappropriate content can be flagged. Or scratch can implement a feature to flag people using the online service...

It sounds like another way to advertise those certain sites on the scratch website via feeds. The main thing I say is that it is not absolutely necessary.

Yep! I agree.

T_T I really, REALLY don't like the idea of making it possible to create/remix projects online. If you do, could you at least make an option where we could have a newer version of Scratch, but still be able to do it offline? I seriously don't trust things online at all. And, I agree that implementing sites such as Facebook would be a REALLY bad idea. I think some things you SHOULD do are, A) More blocks (EG: 'repeat until I receive <broadcasted message>, 'Previous costume', and others that people have requested), B) active Mesh and make it run properly, C) The ideas listed by other users above.

Since scratch is going to flash, will that mean that it will be easier to convert things to exe's (And maybe .swf files?)

Yeah, that's what I thought about it being all online. :\ SCRATCH IS NOT A GAME!! IT'S A PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE!! I might quit Scratch altogether if you guys do that... T_T

Thats just going too far, you know that, no one ever said that it was a game, where are you guys getting the idea that it will turn into a game if it goes online?! i dont see how that makes you think its a game. Scratch will still be a programming language!

Club penguin? When would scratch be like club penguin? It'll just be like scratch, but in a brower, make your preject, click the share button, it shares, same as normal, but your doing in online.

By that I just meant it would feel like any online game.
