Sound greater than 100%

I think it would be helpful to allow sounds to be greater than 100% in volume.

Yeah, but then somebody could make a sound at 99999999%, and it would break somebody's ears...

You can do that if you throw something into audacity and make the volume very high.

How about the sounds can be greater than 100, but less than 1,000.

Re: Sound greater than 100%

%200 as a maxium would be enough I think.

Re: Sound greater than 100%

Or just set the other sounds to 70% or something.

That's not always very convenient, especially if you're trying to reduce sound files by putting all sounds in one sprite.

Re: Sound greater than 100%

Just turn your volume up. We don't need over 100% volumes. We need to work on negative volumes. That'll show physics who's boss.

Re: Sound greater than 100%

The sound is set as percent because it is as percent of the speaker's maximum volume. If the sound is at 100%, that means that it is at the maximum that the speakers and system settings will allow. It would be impossible to have it go past 100, then, since you can't go above the maximum.
