We thought that some people might be interested in our plans for celebrating Scratch Day (http://day.scratch.mit.edu) on May 16 at MIT's Media Lab.
Like others in more than 20 different countries, we will be organizing a Scratch Day gathering - where people of all ages and experiences with Scratch will be able to participate in hands-on workshops, exhibit favorite Scratch projects, and share ideas with members of the MIT Scratch Team.
When: May 16, 2009, 1:00pm to 5:30pm
Where: MIT Media Lab, 20 Ames St., Cambridge, Massachusetts

I'm like the same. at least 200 miles that's for sure..
According to Google Earth, I'm aproximately 8,382.70 kilometers (about 5.208.77 miles) away from MIT.
Oh well, I guess that's because I live on Chile. I wonder if we'll be able the celebrate Scratch Day on my school; I think they have programming classes as a after-school activity. Maybe not this year because they're finishing the rebuilding process, and some things are unstable. I hope next year they do
