I wouldn't call it a turnaround: I still hate mainstream and most other kinds of country.  tongue

Shockingly, never heard any of his music (unless I forgot about it).

Cool!

I gaze off into the boundless skyline, noteblock choirs playin in the sunshine, turn round pick up my sword and wield the blade that once forced evil mobs to yield, if this battle shall leave me slain, I know Herobrine still calls my name, better just take a stand, that was when I ruled the land.

The "Gold Ringers" text bit? Probably yeah, although I could have used a similar looking font. But really, feedback on the actual song will be appreciated.

I didn't like it.
The spirit of the song just wasn't there. You've never been on a horse (probably) and the meaning, the passion behind the song just isn't there, and it comes out forced.
But that's the problem with almost all country music today.

Re: Frozen Coco's Diyath Yavin: New single - "Gold Ringers"

There's a weird beepy sound in the background like the first minute of the track.

I agree with dontbombiraq, though; it lacks feeling. Sure, the instrumentation is decent, but it comes off a little bland in places. My favourite part about it is the piano, for sure, which does sound pretty good. The vocals are also a bit weak, and it seems to drag on for a bit longer than it needs to.

Well, that's your opinion and I can't really do much to change that. Do bear in mind though that you seem to be overly critical and hostile in your previous comments on my singles ("Light Amidst the Fog/If We Never See the Light" and "Ellipsis") as well. This is not the first time you’ve pointed out faults in my work; you've previously complained about certain chord progressions, songs being a drag and now, lack of spirit.

I do try my best to release songs for people to enjoy and I also appreciate constructive criticism, but I do not fancy constant “running down” of my work.

lmao at the fact that you seem to think a four-wheel drive is a horse. For the record, I have been on a horse although country music isn’t necessarily always associated with horses anyway. I really don’t see the point you were trying to make there…

Haha, John Lennon had a real acid tongue when it came to those he really disliked for reasons he thought justified, not every Tom, Dick and Harry. Otherwise he could be a really nice man when he wanted to (ever heard of the stranger who was sheltering at Tittenhurst Park, Lennon's former estate, whom John called in for breakfast)? x)

Overly critical? I was just giving constructive criticism from what I hope is closer to a professional standpoint than a Scratcher standpoint

Again, I really wasn't trying to harsh your buzz with these comments. This last one was really directed at country music, not your song

Constructive criticism isn't pointing out all flaws. Sure, you can point out flaws, while giving good advice on where things were nailed down. I have failed to see that in your last three successive feedback comments over a span of Frozen Coco's and my solo singles. Directed at country music in general or not, it still concerns my song as it still classifies as "modern country music".

As you can clearly see, there's absolutely no horse reference here. If I had changed that, an edit notice would have appeared on the first post of the thread (which contains the lyrics that have not been changed at all since release) a long time ago.

Re: Frozen Coco's Diyath Yavin: New single - "Gold Ringers"

The thing that bothers me is that the vocal track is a bit to tinny sounding and stilll a bit too quiet. It does a bit of clipping like around 1:15. If you come up with some extra money buying a better microphone can really improve a track! Other than that a solid track overall.

As to pretty much all of the comments here best thing to do is ignore "haters" rather than a large argument.
