Re: The New GPD [Accepting Applications!]

Hi everyone! Just thought you should know I'm working on a new project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Asraelite/2839447 and also I would be happy to redesign your physics engine (keeping all the jump heights and air movement and stuff) but make it glitch-free, faster, and more adaptive.

If you could redesign the physics engine that would be amazing! Post here if you have read this

Do you want to do some more level designs or design a better key.

That reminds me I need to update the first post...

Right, I'll get working on a new physics engine right away. I'll use a variation of my Chunkbit engine.

If you are downloading a project then changing the scripts use Stor's No white (8 levels) project on the first post

Here you go. The last level I done looks easy, but I want to put loads of enemies on that level to make it hard. Also how many levels are we going to make.

How many levels?
Erm... not much more- we need to work on adding enemies and stuff. Rough estimate 15-20?

Re: The New GPD [Accepting Applications!]

I am currently glitch-checking the 13 level version.

EDIT- Finished there are a couple of sticking glitches especially on (i think) level 10 but none that can not be solved

Re: The New GPD [Accepting Applications!]

Ok, I looked at the code and it's actually pretty much what I would of done. I think the glitches are either a result of being able to go up slopes, or because he constantly changes costume, e.g. He might be 10px wide when jumping into a wall, then when he hits a wall he becomes 11px wide or something and gets stuck in the wall.

This could be fixed by creating a second sprite, that always stays the same size, and make it the one that jumps around and stuff and just make it have a ghost effect of 100. Then make the sprite with the costumes simply follow that sprite around.

This would be quite simple to do so I didn't bother making a project for it, but if you want I will.

Re: The New GPD [Accepting Applications!]

Hi, I was late in. I think we should have 25 levels to beef the game up a bit. After all it's not that hard. On weekends I am most active, so we can try and get the levels finished tomorrow and maybe start on the enemies and keys. What do you think?
