Re: M30W New Official Topic

@MrFlash67, the version on the site is already some years old and doesn't do anything.

svn checkout https://svn.code.sf.net/p/m30w/svn/ should work just fine without passwords  wink

It doesn't! Please maybe give me a password?
Or am I meant to put it into a command line?
Needs a password anyway.

Re: M30W New Official Topic

I would recommend having the Mac path as ~/Library/Application Support/M30W or something  tongue

I just did. I would send an updated config file if I knew Python. What's Darwin? (Or whatever it was?)
EDIT: I'll see if I can later today. Could someone please give me the linux path? Would a Dropbox link to the file be enough?

Still, I messed up my Linux path in the config and I need it back.
EDIT: Here is the patch.

Re: M30W New Official Topic

pip install M30W!
big_smile
didn't try on windows yet, not sure how it would work with scripts there...
@MrFlash, could you try pip on Macs? You should be able to run it afterwards using M30W from a terminal.

You can install pip/setuptools on Windows, but it's a little tricky, and you have to manually add it to your PATH to get it to run from the command line correctly.

Works on my mac!  smile

You can use AppleScript to do that, I believe.

When do you plan on programming the Stage Area to display sprites and stuff so we can start playing projects in M30W?  smile

play around with loading projects, deleting and making sprites, you'll notice it  wink

Two important features landed yesterday in the trunk - "save and open in scratch" and "reload"  smile

pip version will come next week when I finish editors reloading.

So, um..., I'd like to join. I'm don't have much experience with python, but I have programmed in it in the past. So yeah.

Re: M30W New Official Topic

I need some help with setup. There is no M30W.py, only a M30W file in scripts. I also tried:

Code:

python setup.py install

.

Re: M30W New Official Topic

Try 'python M30w' without the quotes.
