So you all want to send PMs, but the moderators say it won't be implemented. Or maybe you want to make sure a certain scratcher who seems to know you knows you. Or you want to keep your company's projects secret, but send them to another company member. Well, here's how:
1. Decide on an encoding for your message.
2. Go here and type in the message and the encoding, then n (for not decoding).
3. Post the result where the recipient will see the encoded message (you need to download to copy-paste the encoded message).
4. Give hints for the encoding (ex. "The encoding is our secret project's name")
5. Refer them to this thread (to be exact, below).
Decoding a message:
1. Find out the encoding.
2. Go here and type in the message and the encoding, then y (for decoding).
3. Then you have the message!
I MAKE NO GUARANTEE ABOUT THE SECURITY OF THIS CODE, BUT IF YOU FEEL THAT THIS IS NOT ENOUGH, CHANGE THE 42 IN THE PROGRAM TO 4242 (or another larger number).
Each encoding gives a different result. Encodings can have all of the characters messages can have.
Any comments? What did you like about this project? Was the code complicated enough? (it uses cellular automata 84 times) Will you use this? Will you trust it?
nns-qzz0.(y6ho!
Encoding is my username.

Bump... Even though I'm not sure about the security of this code, it can use many different ciphers, and (to me) exhibits the avalanche effect. (I changed one character in a message, and all the coded message's characters changed.)

I don't like this idea. My Scratch Post Office isn't for private messages. It's for sending a message that would normally not be seen by the user. (With stamps and stuff, too!)

You don't need to use it. Anyway, theres not really a good encoding you could use thats different for everyone, but only one person knows.
@Someone who is using legorulez101's system
You can encode your messages before you send them, and send them with a good encoding.

Actually, Molybdenum, could we possibly mix our ideas together? Like, I can make an encoding form with different encoding types? (For example: Other languages, Leet, or custom ones!)

I'm not sure... What do you mean by that? More specific: what do you mean make and encoding. Is it 1 project per code? A user-definable system?
.....?

Anyone? It could help collabs, validating real life identity, almost anything!
Hey look! I editted this on Naruto's birthday! (and somehow this was editted before this post was even posted...)
