A PRIMITIVE HAS FAILED

i keep getting messages that say FAILED: A PRIMITIVE HAS FAILED WHAT DOES IT MEAN! and CAN I EVER UPLOAD PROJECTS AGAIN? PLEASE HELP ME I LOVE SCRATCH AND I WANNA UPLAOD STUFF! I HAVE LIKE 10 PROJECTS LONELY IN DA SCRATCH FOLDER

i am polite and young  and i don't like rude , inaproipiate, offensive, ect. ect. projects or pictures or even comments i like 2 think of the children on scratch so plz think of the kids as well

Hi Babygirl,

Are you still having trouble uploading? Do you know if anything on your computer setup change recently?

I posted some common issues and solutions in the FAQ folder. Please let us know if any of them work for you!

i am polite and young  and i don't like rude , inaproipiate, offensive, ect. ect. projects or pictures or even comments i like 2 think of the children on scratch so plz think of the children as well

yeah im having a problem with uploading just 1 project...its really bugging me...
Its quite long and it eather says : "Failed Unknown Reason" or "A Primative Has Failed"
What does it mean?!? I took so long on that project and I really really really want to share it!!

I sometimes have the "Unknown Reason" message. It always works when I try uploading  for the second time though. Maybe you have a big music file in your project? If so, you can try compressing it (click the "Extras" button, located on the top, and select "compress sound"; then choose a quality - the lower the quality, the less space it will take up, although the sound will be quite disorted).

Can you, say, upload a video to youtube, or upload anything else. It might be the FTP connection is being blocked by a web protection program.
