Scratch

Here is this story I'm writing here is chapter 1 more to follow
Chapter 1
           Audrey sighed. Ten minutes until lunch. Ten minutes until she was dissected like a bug, her friends asking her if she finally got a boyfriend, then they would all talk about their boyfriends. Nine minutes. She had to come up with something to say, an excuse, a reason. Eight minutes. Drawing would clear her head. She grabbed a piece of paper and started to sketch a guy, someone she wished would be at her school. Seven minutes. She started to finish on the clothes, and the hair was blown sideways by an unseen wind. His cocky smile burned into her face, probing her. Six minutes. Coloring was done. She added a profile. Name: Darren. Age: about 13. Height: 5'2". Weight: 95 lbs.. Five minutes left. He was finished. Audrey leaned back satisfied. Her perfect boy was done. Four minutes. His smile started to faintly glow, his eyes held a mythical glimmer to them. She didn't notice. Three minutes. A teacher she didn't know walked into the room. Two minutes to go. The teachers started to whisper, almost asking to be interrupted. One minute. The intercom cracked, then died. They lights went out suddenly. Saved by a blackout.
           Later that day, at home, Audrey was drawing. She heard the thud of the back door. Her grandmother was here to watch over her until her dad came home from work. She could hear her coming upstairs, to the kitchen. To make a cup of coffee. Audrey walked over to her door and locked it. She didn't need to listed to her grandma rambling on right now. She sat back in her chair, suddenly intent upon finishing her homework.
            The next day Audrey could almost sense something ....odd. There was a boy on her bus, one that hasn't taken it to school before. He almost looked like........Darren, the boy she drew yesterday. He winked at her and smiled. She gave a small smile back, the dug out her iPod and cranked the volume up.

Ok if you have any ideas, suggestions, comments, et cetera, please feel free to post. I also accept criticism and will not report it
Oh, and the age/grade that Audrey is in would be 12/7.
