What we need is a bar a bit like the messages bar (that could maybe be purple or red) that says 'WARNING: This project has been marked 'Not For Everyone' by the Scratch Team' that appears whenever the user is viewing a project marked 'Not For Everyone'. This would be good for younger Scratchers. What there could also be is a reason could be shown, for example: 'This project contains mild intense images'.

scratch is an all ages website though

Yes, and when a project is flagged, but it isn't quite bad enough to remove, they mark it as 'Not For Everyone'. These projects can't hit the front page, but there isn't actually a way of telling that they are NFE.

Yes, but some projects can be somewhat bad, but not bad enough. Say it's a screamer, (Not like one in a scary maze game, a more age-friendly one, but still scary.) some people can get scared really easy.
I support this idea, good job.

I don't think it's needed. If they cant appear on the front page then there's not a lot of chances that people will see it anyway.
There are many chances, like Searching, favorites, advertisements, and projects also by this user. Besides wouldn't it just be nice to know?
Support this idea.

(I know what you mean, but:)
Then why is there a not for everyone button for admins at all?
Because some content is okay for the site, but shouldn't be supported by the Scratch Team/easily viewable to people strolling by. This being, I support, but I think admins should be able to turn this off in the case that they don't want everyone knowing.

Agreed!

I support this. It already checks on the page what it's moderation status is, and shows mods. It wouldn't be so hard to extend that to show if it's NFE to everyone.

Just yes. It would kind of ruin the shock factor of screamers, but yes anyways.
This is actaully a positive. NFE projects are marked this because they are sometimes moderately unsuitable for very young children, and reducing the shock factor of screamers for them is good, right?

I don't support. There are thousands hundreds of new project every day and the Scratch Team can only check out a few a day and mark them. Most of them are unmarked so a "Screamer" project is more likely to not have been seen by the Scratch Team and not be marked as "NSFE", leaving users thinking it has physically been marked as safe. The marking of projects is a moderation tool used by the Scratch team to control project flow on the home page and isn't designed to be viewed by the main site users.

That doesn't mean I'm right This is just my opinion so you are, of course, free to voice your own on the matter so that we can think of all the pros and cons in the idea! I'm not vehemently against this idea!
