I saw this suggestion. It is really a good idea, but not implement right. There is a really cool site called Stackoverflow (which I'm sure many of you know about) that is really good at balancing security and functionality. They have made it possible to edit comments up to 60 (maybe more) seconds after the comment is posted to fix typos and things. After that, the comment is "locked" from editing.

Don't support. A lot of times I realize a typo or something else in my posts up to 10 minutes after I post it

Having the ability to edit up to 60 seconds after posting would still be useful, though.
