Ok. This is not for real, but how would you feel if someone said this: YOUR PROJECT IS SO BAD!!! I wouldn't like it, either.
But what about if if someone asked what programming language was used to make Mod Share and I answered "PHP"?
I think it should only non-capitalise it if the length is over a certain amount.
Yes. What is the average length of acronyms anyway?

Most I can think of tend to be around 3-5 characters, but I'm sure there are longer ones.

The longest I can think of is WYSIWYG, which is seven. I think the limit should be somewhere around ten (at the very least), because it's mainly in place to prevent newbies screaming, and I'm yet to see a post like that which is less than ten characters.

The longest acronym, according to the 1965 edition of Acronyms, Initialisms and Abbreviations Dictionary, is ADCOMSUBORDCOMPHIBSPAC, a United States Navy term that stands for "Administrative Command, Amphibious Forces, Pacific Fleet Subordinate Command." Another term COMNAVSEACOMBATSYSENGSTA, which stands for "Commander, Naval Sea Systems Combat Engineering Station" is longer but the word "Combat" is not shortened.[/url]
Most acronyms are around 4 characters, though.
