Message when remixed
When a project of yours is remixed, you should receive a message:
User has remixed your project Project. Check it out here! Remix
I find it hard to keep track of remixes, and often I don't realize my projects have been remixed at all.
Edit: And remixing is a fundamental part of this website, too. So why have it fly under the radar?

I think that it should have it optional. like on a checkbox.

There actually was a time when people got remix messages in their inbox, it was disabled for some reason.
