I hate the drop-down list in the key pressed one. I find it hard to find the characters I want. To make it easier, I think the scratch team should make it that when you press the
<key [space v] pressed?>block, you could be able to then press the key you want it to be and it selects it. That would also deal with the problem that Lightnin said about extending the drop down list. The list would still be there, but it would add another way to select your key.
