May I?

I know about the API, authenticateuser. I am making a site, swfscratch.tk, it is a step up from Scratch, like a Scratch Flash site. It's like newgrounds but a lot safer. My plan is to have the same community, so for the login, may I use that api?
I'll have the domain up in a few days, if you need to see that.
Thanks,
cmpm

Permission isn't needed to use the API to confirm  tongue

Re: May I?

I'm pretty sure you can. It's also used on Mod Share (that's how we confirm users).

Re: May I?

You can use the API, but be warned that it could change in 2.0.

That's a problem for Mod Share...
Will there be a new one?

I don't know yet. They might use it, or they might use something completely different. They may not even use an API, in that sense.

If not, then Mod Share kind of has a problem. Maybe I could use cURL or something, or maybe having to upload a project with a verification code.

Don't worry, i'm sure there'll be some way to verify against the site. About the specifics of the ideas though, i can't say.
