Green variables on the website!!??

Have you noticed when you're browsing on the scratch website and you watch a game, sometimes the variables are green! For example look at this:                   http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/CoolScrawl/2594287
Wait a second... the variables can be red as well, for another example here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/CoolScrawl/2589326
Are there any variables that are yellow or blue and, more importantly... WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!?

Re: Green variables on the website!!??

They changed the color.
You can do that by shift clicking the R in the program's logo. Then you alt-click the variable ?? times. Look up this in the search bar: How to make variables change color.

Re: Green variables on the website!!??

i think it is way too complicated how to change a variable colour, i hope they make it easier in scratch 2.0.

Re: Green variables on the website!!??

It's not that complicated.

And no, it may even be impossible in 2.0, depending on whether you'll be able to edit the source code or not.

Here's a project explaining this in more detail.
