Multidimensional lists. Lists, brought out a similar function that arrays do for programming languages outside of scratch. With multidimensional lists, that could serve as Matrixes, or tables, would bring out the function that multidimensional arrays, or jagged arrays do for outside programming languages. What would this do? This could allow for easy organization of data in particular cells organized in columns, and rows. And with that, cloud multidimensional lists would be an option, too!

Sort of like matrices?

I'd love that.

I think a bunch of mods have some version of this, so it can't be THAT hard to implement (except that they're using Flash instead of Squeak...)

Flash natively supports multidimensional arrays.
I support.

was already suggested x times ago, though
mine was the only one that I found to use the term multidimensional lists, all the others said arrays. Mine also introduces cloud storage.

Er, the term doesn't really make a difference. I'd rather if they were called arrays, anyway.
Ne'ertheless, support. It might be a bit confusing for beginners though.

To be honest though, even regular lists are usually at least a bit confusing for beginners too.

While true multidimensional arrays could be difficult for newbies, replacing lists with a 2D array shouldn't be too hard. Almost everyone's worked with spreadsheets or tables before.

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe you could add 3d arrays at some point, too?

Perhaps, but they could probably be simulated with 2D, the same way 2D and 3D can be simulated with 1.

I support. I think that there should be "Variable", "List", 'Array" to create in the section. This would DRASTICALLY help MMOs as each user could have a collumn or row in the array.

great idea! If you don't mind, could I add this to the first post as a part of the suggestion?
